Thanks to the enthusiasm generated by the BN: Wonder Woman mini, and the great guys over at the BatmanWWArkham Yahoo! group, (especially the donations), the Batman & Wonder Woman FanFiction Archive has stepped up the next level...its got its own domain.

For now, its the same as the one which was being hosted under bmww.xcave.net but I plan/hope that it will grow even further to become THE place for Bats-Wondy 'shippers...pics, artwork, fanfics, reviews, blogs, forum...THE WORKS!!

...okay, maybe not running but at least it is taking its first baby steps to becoming a full-fledged interactive/dynamic story-bank for us Bats-Wondy 'shippers.

Many thanks to DC Lady for getting the archive going in the first place and keeping it going for so long. Herez hoping that she and other BMWW lovin' writers keep on writin'...and that I am able to keep the archive running smoothly for them and the readers too.

I will be making changes (minor ones initially) to smoothen out the kinks and add to the experience.Oh, and one last thing...DCL and me, we couldn't decide on a shorter, easier to remember name for the archive. BatmanWWArkham is kinda long. I welcome any and all suggestions for that.

The BatmanWWArkham Archive, one of the oldest and most well known archive for Batman-Wonder Woman 'shippers has moved to XCave.Net.

It all started waaaaayy back over a year back when thanks to (yet another) screw-up the Geocities account of the archive became unavailable to the readers. Having had my own problematic time with Geocities I offered DC Lady (webmaster of the archive and of the yahoo group) space on XCave. However, by that time she had already fixed the problem.

'nyways, a couple of days back I got an email from DCL on whether the offer was still open...which it was. So, long story short, the BatmanWWArkham archive is now here. Check it out at batmanwwarkham.xcave.net. For now the files will be posted as they are. Slowly but surely I will be working on them and bringing them up-to-speed with the general look and feel of XCave. This will include cleaning up on old, dead links, streamlining the look, feel and navigation and updating status of old fics.

As I taking over the archive, I will also be adding to/managing it from now on. For starters I will be adding to it the BMWW fics that I already have uploaded in the FanFiction section.

Oh, and one last thing...DCL and me, we couldn't decide on a shorter, easier to remember name for the archive. BatmanWWArkham is kinda long. I welcome any and all suggestions for that.

New Look coming up!!

This is a copy of the front-page post...

There have been quite a few changes going on (behind the scenes) and even more coming up (front of the curtain).

   - Have moved servers and 'm trying my best to get all the data uploaded again.
   - 'm trying my hand at some of the new (for me anyways) things for possible new additions/changes to the site (e.g. Word Press, Joomla, etc.)
   - In the meantime (if I do move to one of the above), 'm getting the next *upgrade* ready. After almost four years of running at (minimum resolution) 800x600, XCave.NET is going to take the next step up. If/When the new look gets finalized, the minimum resolution requirement will be upped to 1024x768. Slowly but surely all (or as many possible) old pages will be updated with the new look.
   - In some of the pages/sections the increased size/resolution will lead to changes either in the way things are laid out or even some new additions.

As usual the site design is (primarily) done on Firefox...although (as with past times) its extensively tested on Internet Explorer and Opera too.

A New Beginning...Yet Again!!

Had been thinking about a page/section for my various misc-comics and non-comic rants for quite a while. In fact, in the earliest days of my site (when it was still on free hosting), I even had a couple of such sections.

One of them was related to computers (with plans of including other electronics & gadgets) and one for info/wiki for comic characters. I dropped the comic wiki (there are much better information sources out there) partly due to the start and increasing image posts, (I had a measly 50MB space then.) The computer-related one slipped away into obscurity too...once again due to my devoting my time and resources to the comic-genre.

Well, now that my comic-plans seem to have come to fruition, having reached a maturity where I don't need to work (as hard) to keep them up and running, my thoughts have returned to the forgotten ones. However, instead of opening up new sections for them I will be going for a blog/site mix. This page will primarily be devoted to keeping track of those posts/rants. Yeah I know I could do it much better on the blog (for instance the one I have), but after being on my third...or is it the fourth blog I very well know of my (current) limitations when it comes to the blog.

Moreover, not all the pages/links here will be from my blog. They (hopefully) will include those which I have made on other sites/blogs too.

So that being said...here goes nothing...
